Marilyn Fernando’s letter [Sept. 4] failed to mention what it was we need to stand together on. Broward County Transit is suspending certain bus routes which serve CVE. Many people think that these routes only serve the residents of CVE — this is not the case — all BCT bus routes which stop at CVE are used by anyone with the money to pay the fare. Though the 92 Route (Hillsboro) will continue and be enhanced, other routes which serve CVE AND ALL BROWARD RESIDENTS are to be cancelled. Anyone who uses the buses should be concerned when government stops providing public transit while encouraging us to leave our gas guzzlers at home.
