DEERFIELD BEACH

March 8 Victim left windows down on car near SE 2 Avenue with her purse on the passenger seat. Unknown suspects removed the wallet with $500 and several credit cards.

March 8 Police responded to call of four shots being fired. Rounds were recovered, but no arrests were made.

March 10 During execution of a search warrant, Richard Coquillon, of 1030 SW 8 Ave., also a documented Doom City gang member, was found with five firearms, including a stolen AK-47 and another with the serial number scratched off.

March 10 Two boats parked near 2571 W. Hillsboro Blvd. had $10,000 worth of electronic equipment stolen.

March 10 A juvenile was arrested near Deerfield Beach Middle School after he struck another juvenile. Investigation shows the suspect had threatened the victim during the school day. Victim was taken to North Broward Medical Center for injuries to his hand.

March 11 Anthony Hinds, of Ft. Lauderdale, was arrested for attempting to cash a false $4,000 check at SunTrust bank.

March 12 Marcell Graham, of Daytona, was arrested for cashing a false $2,400 check at Bank of America in Deerfield.

March 12 A victim on Siesta Key Drive reported a male put a gun into his back as he entered his home and demanded he get down while another suspect entered the bedroom. He later found his flat screen TV missing.

March 13 A $10,000 A/C unit was removed from a business in The Cove Shopping Center.

March 13 Police responded to reports of gunshots in the NW 1 Terrace neighborhood. One vehicle owner reported a bullet hole in their car. Police noted several black male juveniles fled when police came to investigate.

March 14 Unknown suspects broke into a work van on NW 6 Avenue and stole a $170 Garmin GPS and a $170 Canon camera.

 

LIGHTHOUSE POINT

March 7 A LHP resident seeking spiritual help reached out to someone on www.amazingpsychichope.com and was eventually conned out of $700 through the person responding to calls.

March 8 Police responded to the waterways behind a home on NE 29 Street to find a sinking boat. It was tied to the dock, had no fuel and was awaiting towing.

March 9 A disgruntled customer attempted to leave a LHP auto repair shop without paying and backed into the gate, keeping her from leaving. The bill was paid and charges not pressed.

March 10 A car parked on NE 27 Terrace was burglarized and change removed.
